Application for Post-Metric Scholarships

Application Process:
Applications must be submitted to the respective Headmasters of Government High Schools or Principals of Government PU Colleges along with attested copies of the following documents:

  • Aadhar card

  • BPL ration card

  • Marks card

  • Fee receipt

For I and II PUC students, applications can also be submitted to Arathi and Jayarama Shetty Foundation, Sri Lakshmi Nilaya. 9 th cross, Ashoka Nagar, Tumkur-572103. Only on specific dates- which will be notified later in this website and in Prajapragathi daily news paper. which can be downloaded below.

⭐ For First degree ( Fresh and Renewal) and second and higher degree (Renewal Only)
students who are eligible must apply to Suprajit Foundation, Bangalore, by downloading
the application below.

⭐ From the academic year 2025–26, Arathi and Jayarama Shetty Foundation has tied up with Suprajit Foundation, Bangalore, to provide scholarships for degree students.

⭐ Above mentioned eligible students must get all documents attested by respective principals
which must be submitted at: Arathi and Jayarama Shetty Foundation, Sri Lakshmi Nilaya. 9 th cross, Ashoka Nagar, Tumkur-572103.  Only on specific dates- which will be notified later in this website and in Prajapragathi daily news
paper.

DOCUMENTS NEEDED for applications:
Eligibility : Students who score 80% and above.
1. For Degree 1st year – SSLC and PUC marks card.
2. For Degree 2nd year and 3rd year – SSLC, PUC and last passed marks card.
3. Aadhar card
4. BPL card.
5. Application form duly filled.
6. Fee paid receipt for the current year’s course.
7. Bank Passbook – 1st page with details.

Post-Metric Scholarship for meritorious and economically backward students of Tumkuru Distrct

Under this project, the Foundation distributes Scholarships to PUC and Degree students. The Foundation has collaborated with M/S Suprajit Foundation, Bengaluru, for Scholarship of Degree students. This program is a continuing process, as students who are eligible in coming years will be receiving the scholarship every year.

The third Scholarship Distribution Program was held on 2-11-2025, at City Central Library Auditorium, Town Hall Circle, Tumakuru. Poojya Sri Japanandaji Maharaj-President, Ramakrishna Ashram, Pavagada, made his divine presence and motivated the students with his inspirational speech. His appreciation of our Foundation’s work will be a guiding spirit.

Dr. S. Naganna, Editor of Praja Pragathi, a famous Kannada daily, was another guest, who distributed scholarship and addressed the students.

Totally 227 students received scholarship, amounting to 11.50 lakhs. Out of this 169 were PUC and 58 were Degree students

The Trustees CA Mr. M. Jayarama Shetty and Dr. Arathi. J Shetty, organised the function.
